Blood Moon is a horror/romance featuring two broken men trying to achieve a sense of normalcy in their lives.
Caleb has spent two years hiding from the world, burdened by trauma and secrets he can’t share, and he can no longer bear the loneliness. Just as he begins to put himself out there again, he meets Damien, a fiery and charismatic musician with a magnetic personality. By some miracle, he seems to take an instant liking to Caleb. Why would someone as bright and outgoing as him have any interest in a train-wreck like Caleb? He won’t question it though. He finally feels like a real person again, not just a shadow drifting through his own life… But he just can’t get rid of the voice in his head telling him this is all a bad idea and… other things that he really would rather just ignore…
Damien is recently estranged from his family and finally living his best life! …Or that’s what he tells himself at least. Things still feel… bad and wrong, two things that Damien really hates feeling. He needs a distraction, and happens to find a big one in the form Caleb, a melancholy and quiet tattoo artist who seems to have a wild past. Damien just finds him so interesting! He’s also huge and jacked, but that has nothing to do with it! Obviously! …There’s something weird about Caleb though, but Damien can’t really pinpoint it…
Blood Moon was created to try and combine my love for goth culture/music, horror, grungy art, moody romance, and monster-y men 😉 If you like that stuff, you’ll probably enjoy the comic!
